Monroe County Humane Society Community Volunteer Group of Wisconsin was created about 50 years ago, on October 26, 1972. We are an all volunteer, non-profit organization. Our efforts are directed to educating people about the humane treatment of animals and responsible pet ownership. Our goal is to decrease the number of homeless pets through active support of the spaying and neutering of dogs and cats. We are able to do this from fundraising, and from donations. This would not be possible without YOU. We are able to financially cover portions of these Veterinary expenses for you, as funds are available, because of donations from our community! Monroe County Humane Society Community Volunteer Group of Wisconsin is not affiliated with the Monroe County Animal Shelter, we are a separate organization. We do not have a building or location. Our group members meet monthly in person, and live group chat as often as needed.
